Matt started by removing the dishwasher.

Dishwasher's gone!	Next, the stove went. That's the old downdraft you see there.

And now the downdraft is gone!	Here's Matt hamming it up as he decends into the crawlspace under the house to remove the downdraft ductwork.

Eventually, he figured out it was easier to go feet first!	Got rid of the downdraft duct work, which left a hole in the floor. More about that later...

Here's Matt removing the disposal...	While Em reads my home repair handbook with Matt in the nearly butt crack plumber pose.

Got the disposal out after much ado...	Here's the stove and downdraft parts waiting outside for the Salvation Army pickup.

Here's the make-shift kitchen I've set up for the next 5-6 weeks.	And my make-shift kitchen sink... the dishwasher.
