![]() Waiting for the flagstone contractors... ![]() Got a few plants in... That white carpet was getting filthy! ![]() The fan palm looked good... until transplant shock set in. ![]() Lots of amaryllis suddenly appeared one day right next to this cute bumble bee planter I acquired recently in Calistoga. ![]() First they layed out the bender boards and dug out the dirt. ![]() Then they put down steel reinforcements and poured the concrete. ![]() Then they leveled the concrete... ![]() And smoothed it out. ![]() When they were done, I had to water the base three times a day! After a week and a few trips to the stone yard... ![]() I finally selected the flagstones. The guys came back with the stones and started breaking them, laying them out... ![]() ...and fitting them together. ![]() What a fun puzzle! ![]() the stones, they washed off the excess and cleaned all the stones by hand. ![]() Finally, my stone path was done!
