You can browse through static image galleries, which display thumbnails of the best photographs in each of the major categories. Navigation icons appear at the bottom of each gallery page, allowing you to jump from gallery to gallery without returning to the home page. If you want access to all 1000+ images in the database, you can enter search criteria to dynamically generate collections of images that meet your specifications.

You can click any thumbnail image to view an enlargement. The enlargement pages also provide navigation icons, so you can browse through all of the images in a particular gallery, collection, or portfolio without returning to the thumbnails.

Pages on this site also provide information about ordering prints, slides, and digital images, a way to sign up for e-news, a digital representation of my slide portfolio, an artist's biography, and contact information.

In addition to designing and implementing this site, I developed all of the content, including all of the photographs, text, and graphics. My son, Dan Checkoway, contributed tremendously to the implementation of this site. He designed and built the database, including a complete user interface for data entry, and he implemented most of the dynamic code. We make a great team!
