Quail Mountain B&B is located on 26 acres, 350 feet
above the Napa Valley on a heavily forested mountain range.
Entering the property from Highway 29, you drive
alongside our 12-acre cabernet sauvignon vineyard and fruit orchard. You
enter our forest through an antique wrought iron gate and begin the ascent to our home.

We are within walking distance of three wineries, and the town of Calistoga is less than two miles
from our gate.

A large sunny solarium serves as a common room for our guests to enjoy
the views of the valley floor or the warmth of a fire in winter, as well as our tranquil setting. Upon arrival,
we'll treat you to wine and hors d'oeuvres in the solarium or on a deck or patio. You can
unwind from your day and socialize with the other guests, as well as your hosts.
We will serve you a full breakfast each morning of your stay in our solarium or on one of our many decks.

Guest RoomsThe guest accommodations at Quail Mountain were designed
for luxury. Each of the three guest rooms has a king-size brass bed,
private bath, and private deck. The large, cozy beds have white goose down pillows and comforters with
hand-made covers. The vaulted ceilings and skylights in each room allow you to take full advantage of the
beautiful light on Quail Mountain while affording you total privacy. Robes are provided in

Nearby Activities
Quail Mountain is walking distance from Stonegate, Clos Pegase, and Sterling Vineyards.
Napa Valley offers a great variety of activities. You can hike among first-growth redwoods,
ride a bike through rolling, green hills and valleys, play golf on a 5-star course, take a
ride in a hot air balloon, or sit in a tub of warm mud followed by a soothing massage to
rid yourself of stress. Upon your request, we will provide information for dinner reservations at one of the fine restaurants or
assist you in planning winery visits or an afternoon at a nearby spa.

Spending Time at Quail Mountain
During your walk, be sure to keep an eye out for
quail and other wildlife, as they are very tame. In fact, if you're not looking, you might trip over one
of our feathered friends!

How to Find Quail Mountain B&B
From San Francisco:Take Highway 101 north to the River Road exit, and follow Mark West Springs Road toward Calistoga (right). Go 11 miles to the T intersection, and turn left onto Petrified Forest Road. Go 6 miles to the T intersection, and turn right onto Foothill Blvd. The flashing red light marks the intersection of Lincoln Avenue, Calistoga's main street. Keep going straight and watch for Diamond Mountain Road on your right. Turn right onto Quail Mountain Lane, which leads to Quail Mountain B&B. Stay right when the lane forks, and follow the narrow, winding road up to the house. | ||||||||||||
From Berkeley and East of San Francisco:
If you get to a flashing red light, you've reached the intersection of Lincoln Avenue, Calistoga's main street, and have gone too far. Turn around, and watch for Diamond Mountain Road. When you pass Diamond Mountain Road, turn right onto Quail Mountain Lane, which leads to Quail Mountain B&B. Stay right when the lane forks, and follow the narrow, winding road up to the house. | ||||||||||||
WeatherThe weather in Napa Valley is generally quite mild, but it can vary from 90 degrees (F) during summer days to below freezing on winter nights. In winter, the valley has some rainy days, and dense fog is not unusual at night. It's still beautiful countryside in the rain, but better check to be sure... Room RatesThe following rates are for one or two people in a room with a private bath. Rates include complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres at 6 p.m. and a full breakfast each morning of your stay.
